Equities market closed on a negative note yesterday, as NSE ASI depreciated by -0.08% to close at 34,400.48 basis points, compared with the -0.50% depreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date, YTD returns currently stand at -0.74%.
Market breadth closed positive as ETI led 24gainers against 20losers topped by Unity bank at the end of yesterday’s session- an unimproved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume declined up by 30.18% against 91.41% uptick recorded in the previous session. UBA, Access bank and GTB were the most active to boost market turnover. Unilever and GTB top market value list.
