Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has described his predecessor, Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma as a man of honour and a source of inspiration to him and government of the state.
Al-Makura made the remark in a message of felicitation to the former governor on Doma’s 73rd birthday celebration.
He maintained that the former governor has been a source of inspiration to him and prayed God to grant him good health and many more years ahead.
“On behalf of my humble self, the government and entire good people of Nasarawa State, I, Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura, wish to felicitate with Alhaji Aliyu Akwe Doma, (Madaucin Doma) on the occasion of his 73rd birthday anniversary.”
According to the statement, “Your Excellency, may Almighty Allah sustain you in your unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and progress of our dear state and country in general, “he added.
Governor Al-Makura assured that the people of the state will continue to pray to Almighty Allah to grant him good health, wisdom and long life as he continued to chart the course of peace for the overall development of the state.
