…Felix Obuah playing to the gallery

A pro Buhari ex-militant leader, Israel Akpodoro, has taken a swipe on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State chapter saying that the umbrella party including the State Governor, Nyesom Wike, looted Nigeria into its current economic recession, noting that the Chairman of the state chapter of the party, Mr. Felix Obuah, was playing to the gallery in “grand deception and grandstanding.”
Akpodoro stated this in Port Harcourt the Rivers State capital on the backdrop of what he described as unwarranted attacks on the Minister of Transport, Chief Chibuike Amaechi over his “genuine efforts” at enthroning peace in the Niger Delta region using the Consultation and Peace Committee in the Niger Delta region. He added, “Obuah and his ‘co travellers’ were ashamed over the huge success recorded by the Amaechi-led peace initiative in the region”.
Akpodoro also said that if anyone is unpopular in Rivers State, that it is the Obuah led PDP, adding that because of the lust for material wealth, the people of Rivers State were tired and suffocating under the maladministration of the current government and his group of looters who are suffering from dearth of ideas on how to run a state like Rivers.
Since Amaechi completed his tenure as Rivers governor there have been dearth of development and PDP sponsored cult activities in the state.
“Obuah stands the truth on its head because he and his cohorts know clearly that with peace initiative of FG, violence and criminalities will no longer be attractive to the youth of Rivers State, thereby forcing the blood sucking bunch led by Obuah and his master out of business.” The vociferous urhobo-born ex-agitator stated, adding that 2019 was still a long time for any responsible group to project into, but for the myopic tendencies of Obuah and his likes.”
Akpodoro who doubles as the National President of Niger Delta Ex-Agitators, NCNDE-A, however warned the Obuah led rivers state PDP Chapter to cease its incessant attacks on the respected leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and face the task of making life worthy for the people of the state.
