The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Tuesday destroyed illegal structures at the Hajj Camp and Cargo Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the exercise was carried out by the Aviation Security Unit of FAAN.
A source in FAAN who pleaded anonymity, said that the company would continue to flush out touts and other illegal operators at the airport.

The source vowed that all illegal structures at the airport, including places of worship and shops would be dismantled.

He warned people engaging in illegal and criminal activities to stay away from the cargo terminal in their own interest.

The source said that anyone caught engaging in illegal activities would be arrested and prosecuted and that goods seized from such a person would be burnt.
