Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja Commissioner of Police, CP Wilson Inalegwu has charged senior officers in the Command to set a good precedence by providing personnel serving under them with effective leadership that will facilitate the provision of adequate security for lives and property of FCT residents and visitors alike.
Inalegwu reiterated this at the CP’s conference with all Heads of Departments, Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers held recently at the Command Headquarters to appraise the current security situation and re-strategize in a bid to attain a safer and secured Federal Capital Territory.
According to a statement by the FCT Police Command spokesman, ASP Anjuguri Manzah, yesterday the FCT Police chief lauded the performance of the Command personnel, even as he charged the officers to key into the visionary leadership of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Solomon Arase by re-doubling their effort and discharging their duties in the most professional manner.
The CP seized the avenue to warn all police personnel attached to the Command to shun all negative acts that will dent the good image of the Force and the Command in particular.
