Police nab 3 kidnappers, rescue 4 victims in Kogi

FEDERAL Capital Territory Police Command has ordered full investigation into the murder of one Mrs. Eunice Mojisola Wale, who was murdered by unknown persons in the early hours of last Saturday at Bazango Pipeline area of Kubwa FCT Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Anjuguri Manzah said in a statement yesterday that the Commissioner of Police, Alkali Baba Usman has ordered the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Criminal Investigation and Intelligence
Department, CIID, to lead a discreet investigation into the case. Already, six suspects who have been arrested in connection with the gruesome murder are in police custody and currently undergoing interrogation. CP Usman assured that the outcome of the investigation would be made public. The CP commiserated with the family of the deceased over the unfortunate incident and assured them and other residents of the area of the commitment and determination of the command to fish out perpetrators of the heinous crime and bring them to justice.
He also enjoined residents and members of the general public to remain calm and cooperate with police in the ongoing investigation by providing useful information concerning this brutal murder, through phone numbers 08032003913, 08061581938, 07057337653 and 08028940883. The police also stated that contrary to reports from some sections of the media that the deceased’s head and leg were chopped-off, the command wants to state that apart from marks of injury inflicted on some parts of her body, all parts of the deceased’s body were intact.
