POLICE in katsina State say they are investigating circumstances that led to the disappearance of money and property at the family home of former first lady, Turai Yar’adua. Speaking to newsmen yesterday, the state Commissioner of Police, Usman Abdullahi said monies and property worth N91.4 million were alleged to have been stolen from the family house. Abdullahi said the former first lady had discovered that the said items were missing and promptly called the police for investigation. He said the police swung into action and arrested the security man guarding the house, Yusuf Sarkingida, along two of his children. He said the security man had been working for the family of the former first lady for the past 40 years. The CP said that investigations were ongoing on the matter.
