Board Chairman of the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, Mr. Felix Chukwu has tasked the newly promoted officers on hard work as he identified hard work and dedication to duties as critical towards the Corps’ corporate goals of attaining the status of a world class organization by 2020.
Chukwu made the statement yesterday in Abuja after the approval of promotion of 1,026 Assistant Route Commanders to their next rank of Deputy Route Commanders by the Board, which met at FRSC national headquarters in Abuja.
According to the Board Chairman, the promotion of the officers was “a culmination of our drive to reward excellence and hard work, in line with our corporate goals to attain the status of a world class organization” he said.
Speaking further, Chukwu said that the recent promotion is bourne out of a rigorous, transparent and fair process and charged the newly promoted officers to put in their best by adding value to the system through the projection and proclamation of road safety ideals in their respective areas of responsibilities.
In a related development, the FRSC Corps Marshal, Boboye Oyeyemi has reiterated the Corps’ commitment to recognise excellence, dedication to duties and promote professionalism in the desire to deliver on its statutory mandate.
He made this statement after approving the promotion of 463 other ranks of the Corps and also charged them to see their elevation as a call to redouble their efforts in discharging their respective job functions.
It will be recalled that the FRSC commenced its 2015 promotion exercise with the Marshals cadre and Assistant Route Commanders who were put through physical exercises and internet-driven aptitude tests.
