Nigerian equities market closed on a negative note yesterday, as NSE ASI depreciated by 0.26% to close at 27,034.05basis points, compared with the 0.47% depreciation recorded previously.
Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -5.61%.
Market breadth closed positive as NEM led 24gainers against 17losers topped by GSK at the end of yesterday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.Market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by 12.05% against 20.10% declined recorded in the previous session. NEM, GTB and FCMB were the most active to boost market turnover. GTB and Dangote Cement top market value list.
