Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side, FC Ifeanyiubah, have announced they have landed Ismaila Gata and Benin Republic’s Isaac Loute.
The Anambra Warriors have also hooked Wale Doyeni, Ghanaian Baah Kojo and Bello Kofarmata, who has already featured for them in the first round of the Nigeria top-flight.
Gata will wear number 33, same jersey number he wore at Niger Tornadoes in the first round while Loute, Doyeni, Kofarmata and Kojo have been given numbers 21, 25, 29 and 3 respectively.
However, the clearance of the five players remains pending, according to the League Management Company (LMC) which oversees the Nigeria top tier.
“As at close of business on Friday, the club are awaiting the all clear flag from the LMC for two players of Heartland, one from Niger Tornadoes, Kano Pillars, Sunshine Stars and a Ghanaian import,” the official website of the NPFL stated on Saturday.
