Governor, Umaru
Tanko Al-Makura has
commended the state
Commissioner of Police,
Sani Mohammed for
ensuring adequate
security and promotion
of peaceful coexistence
in the state.
The governor gave
the commendation in
a statement signed by
his Special Assistant on
Media and Publicity,
Ahmed Tukur and
issued to newsmen in
Lafia at the weekend.
He observed that the
police command under
CP Sani Usman has
exhibited high sense
of professionalism and
civility in securing the
lives and property of the
citizenry and urged him
to maintain the tempo.
Al-Makura pointed out
that the conduct of the
state Police boss was a
practical demonstration
that the force has reinvented
its self towards
crime prevention and
assured that the state
government would
continue to support the
command in its efforts to
reduce the rate of crime
in the state.
