National Association of Road Transport Owners has urged Jigawa state government to investigates the recent clash between the members of NARTO‎ and NURTW in the state.

This was stated by NARTO national president, Dr Kassim Batayya at the Association 17th Annual General Meeting held at Dutse Jigawa state.

He explained that NARTO is an association of investors that would not engage in feud that could result in the destruction of their vehicles.

He also charge the governor to repair deplorable roads in some parts of the state that have been a source of concern to motorists.

Responding Jigawa state government explained that he is aware of the challenges being faced by road transporters ‎in trying to convey passengers, good and other services.

He promised to do all the possible best to solve the lingering problems taking place across the state.

The governor also distributed 50 tricycles to National Association of Road Transport Owners NARTO for the transportation activities within local government headquarters.

Badaru also commends the state former governor, Alhaji Sule Lamido for his vision in providing road networks across the state.

He said Jigawa still remains the best state that has excellent road networks constructed by the previous administration.
