Plateau State government, at the weekend, called on the past government officials who have absconded with government vehicles that were not monetised to return them immediately. 
This was contained in a press statement signed by Rufus Bature, the secretary to the state government, and made available to newsmen in Jos 
It reads in parts, “The attention of the Plateau State government has been drawn to reports that some past government officials have absconded with government vehicles.
“All those in company of such vehicles are requested to return such vehicles within one week as all vehicles not returned will be impounded by security agencies and the officials prosecuted,” the statement further added.
