Politicization of legal privileges in Nigeria is an ill wind that blows nobody any good. SAN is already regarded by us non-lawyers as no better than a legal chieftancy title; the Body of Life Benchers could go the same way if care is not taken. What is the legal pedigree of Tambuwal to warrant his being made a life bencher at this time in his political career. Shame!
