Plateau State governor, Simon Lalong has commiserated with the family of the former deputy speaker, Late Usman Zumunta Musa who passed away recently.
Governor Lalong in his condolence message signed by Emmanuel Nanle his director of Press and Public Affairs said the diseased calm disposition would be greatly be missed.
He noted that the deceased was one of the courageous individuals who stood on the path of truth and progress, by sacrificing for the sustenance of democracy in the state in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
He stressed that as Deputy to Governor Lalong in the Assembly, he was courageous in fighting the State of Emergency slammed on the state by Obasanjo led administration. He said the Late Musa would be remembered also for his role in the peace-building of the state as well as the promotion of peaceful coexistence between the various religions and communities in the state.
Governor Lalong added that his wise counsel would be greatly be missed and prayed God to grant him eternal rest.
