All is set to commence airlift of Nigerian pilgrims currently at the Holy Land of Saudi Arabia back home today, September 17.
National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, NAHCON, Commissioner of Operations, Alhaji Abdullahi Modibbo Saleh made the disclosure.
Alhaji Saleh said the exercise is to commence with airlifting of pilgrims from two states of Kwara and Kogi states.
He said already FlyNas airline is ready to commence the operation of returning the pilgrims back home.
According to him, “airport will be open 17th September for airlift. We have got readiness on the part of at least one airline which is FlyNas airline. We have got schedule of FlyNas as at today while others of Med-view and MaxAir are to follow suit soon.
“We call on state leadership for collaboration, dialogue and consultation with operators. They should exercise patience and cooperate with the operators,” Alh. Saleh stated.
