Daily Mirror reports that PSG and Sweden suber-star Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s potential move to London has taken another step towards reality, with Arsenal apparently having been officially offered the striker via his agents. All that now stands in the way of the deal is his wages as the 34-year-old wants £250,000-a-week for a one-year deal.
“It would be a major departure from Wenger’s normal policy but PSG have yet to offer Ibrahimovic a new deal and, even though his wages would be in excess of £250,000 a week, there would be no fee and he recently talked about playing in the Premier League,” the report adds.
Gunners fans shouldn’t get their Zlatan shirts ordered just yet. If Jose Mourinho ends up at a Premier League club this summer, then his close relationship with the Swede is likely to trump any deal Arsenal can put together.
