According to the ICAN president, they have concluded the review of the accounting curriculum of the NUC while that of the National Board for Technical Education, NBTE, has reached advanced stage.

She said they intend to commence the review of the curriculum of the National Commission of Colleges of Education, NCCE, West African Examinations Council, WAEC, and the National Examination Council, NECO.

Adewuyi observed that the review indicates some gaps in the current curriculum.

She reiterated ICAN’s willingness to provide technical assistance to the NUC and other stakeholders on the modalities for updating the curriculum to meeting international standards.
