eager for Wembley
showdown
Moses
CHELSEA will be facing Tottenham
Hotspur in one of the semi-final games
of the FA Cup and Nigeria international,
Victor Moses looks fired up for that
clash.
Moses played a huge role in Chelsea’s
run to the semi-final and the dashing
winger has now declared that he
is looking forward to the Wembley
showdown with London rivals
Tottenham.
Moses started Monday night’s FA Cup
game against Manchester United before
making way for Kurt Zouma in the latter
stages of the second half.
N’Golo Kante lone strike sealed
Chelsea’s place in the semi as they
continue their hunt for a domestic
double this season. The victory recorded
over Manchester United on Monday
night was Chelsea’s 13th consecutive
home victory and as confirmed by the
club, that it is a new record.
Moses and his teammates will hope
they can get the better of Spurs who
are one of the very few teams that have
beaten them this season.
Chelsea contact Madrid over
Sergio Ramos summer raid
CHELSEA have approached
Real Madrid about the
availibility of defender
Sergio Ramos, according to
reports.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol
claim the Blues, Bayern
Munich and Paris St-
Germain have all contacted
the La Liga giants over a
stunning summer transfer.
But Real have made it
clear to all three they will
not sell Ramos under any
circumstances.
The 30-year-old has been
impressive once again this
season, netting 10 goals from
his position as a centre-back.
Ramos’ current contract at
the Bernabeu runs until 2020
after he rejected the chance to
join Manchester United back in
2015.
Antonio Conte is keen to add
a new defender to Chelsea’s
squad this summer with John
Terry seemingly on his way out
of Stamford Bridge.
The Italian is reportedly a
big fan of Ramos and thinks he
would be the perfect fit for his
3-4-3 system.
Carlo Ancelotti is also keen
for a reunion with the Spaniard
who he previously managed at
Real.
And PSG are determined to
add even more quality to their
side.
But Real president Florentino
Perez is set to reject all
approaches for Ramos this
summer.
