Watford forward Odion Ighalo and Chelsea’s John Mikel Obi have joined Super Eagles camp as the numbers of invited foreign based players increased to five as Monday morning ahead Friday’s Africa Nations qualifier against Egypt.

Aside Ighalo and Mikel, Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi, Turkey based Aminu Umar, Uniao da Madeira’s Abdullahi Shehu had arrived the Eagles’ nest in Abuja.

According to the Nigeria Football Federation, more players are expected at lunch time on Monday as training will begin in the evening by 4pm.

Samson Siasia’s men depart for Kaduna on Tuesday after the morning training session at the Abuja National Stadium, which will be open to the media.
