Danilo says there is no chance of him leaving Real Madrid this summer.

The Brazilian moved to the Bernabeu from Porto last year and endured a tricky first season in the Spanish capital, ending the campaign as second-choice right-back behind Dani Carvajal.

Speaking to Brazilian publication Globoesporte, he dismissed the possibility of a move away from the European champions before the close of the transfer window next month.

He said: “I only see the rumours via the press. When there is something concrete it always goes through my agents. And for something to happen, it’s [Real] Madrid who must tell me that they do not want me.

“I am very happy in Madrid, the president is happy with me and I am with [coach Zinedine] Zidane. The possibility of leaving Madrid is zero.”
