Federal government has declared tomorrow as public holiday to mark the 55th Independence of the country.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the director of press, Federal Ministry of Interior, Yusuf Isiaka Alhaji, and made available to Nigerian Pilot yesterday in Abuja.
Permanent secretary, Federal Ministry of Interior, Abubakar Magaji who made the declaration on behalf of the federal government congratulated all Nigerians, both at home and abroad, for their support for President Buhari in his committed efforts towards building a peaceful, united and virile nation.
Magaji further urged all Nigerians to use the occasion of the celebration to pray for peace and unity across the country, wishing all Nigerians a happy independence celebration.
