TRADING activities on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange continued its bearish trend yesterday on a negative note, as NSE ASI depreciated by 0.34% to close at 30,510.95basis points, compared with the 0.63% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -11.96%
Market breadth closed negative as African Prudent led 16gainers against 29losers topped by Port Land Paint at the end of yesterday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume declined by 39.89% against 101.15% uptick recorded in the previous session. Zenith bank, GTB and FBNH were the most active to boost market turnover. Nestle and Zenith bank top market value list.
