The Inter¬-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, in Rivers State has applauded Governor Nyesom Wike for exceptional leadership qualities and uncommon development strides in short stay in office.
Describing him as an amiable governor, the publicity secretary of the council and state chairman of Labour Party LP, Prince Favour at a press conference yesterday in Port Harcourt observed that Governor Wike’s administration had ushered remarkable and significant changes in Rivers State.
According to him, “We make bold to say that in short a time, the indefatigable governor of Rivers State has matched his words with actions, as Rivers people are now heaving a sigh of relief, and have started breathing fresh air and enjoying the ‘new’ life promised, irrespective of the pockets of distractions that are prevalent.
“Governor Nyesom Wike is undaunted, focused and courageous in the face of seemingly unconstructive and lackluster criticisms of the opposition.”
Enumerating some of the achievements of Governor Wike, Favour affirmed that the state judiciary which was in a state of comatose for more than a year under the immediate past administration, had been freed from executive emasculation, noting that lawyers and judges now serve the course of justice.
