Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State has reiterated his commitment towards ensuring the provision of good road network across the state for easy transportation purpose.
Ishaku, who spoke in Jalingo after inspecting some roads within the state capital, said that his administration would start the construction of Jalingo township roads to raise the standard of the state capital.
The construction of the township roads, Ishaku noted would be carried out in phases to make every part of the state capital accessible.
Provision of basic infrastructure, healthcare delivery and qualitative education to the people among others things according to the governor would be the cardinal objective of his administration.
He told newsmen that his government would continue to work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that permanent peace returns to every nook and corner of the state.
According to him “No society develops in an atmosphere of rancour, acrimony and social upheaval, therefore we must work together to resolve all lingering crisis in the state.”
For the purpose of progress and development, the governor called on the people of the state to continue to remain proactive and supportive to his administration’s ideals.
