A group under the auspices of Isoko Solidarity Support Group, ISSG, in collaboration with Isoko development Union, IDU Bayelsa chapter, yesterday, have resolved to give their unalloyed support to Governor Seriake Dickson in the forthcoming December 5 governorship election.
The forum President, Comrade Idama O. Michael, in a statement issued to newsmen in Yenagoa said, their decision was informed by the Governor and his deputy Rear Admiral Gboribigha John-Jonah (rtd), viability to bring succour to Bayelsans.
According to the group, the Governor has done credibly well and stood out in the administration prowess in the Bayelsa state history, noting that, with utmost gratitude and support to restoration government, they throw their weight behind the duo.
“Dickson has brought security, good roads, and development of the popular Berger round-about by putting in place a standard fly over bridge.
“He has been able to drive the miscreant into the cave in Bayelsa State. Dickson’s victory represents victory for the entire Niger-Delta, as the woods where still fresh. Dr. Goodluck Jonathan remains a hero of the Niger Delta.
“He has done well in the area of prompt payment of salary, improved health care delivery, constant electricity as never before, community policing and the social well being of all those living in Bayelsa,” they said.
They group therefore, called on communities, individuals, NGOs, civil servants to join hands to give Dickson’s administration a second chance, to enable him complete his good works, and start other anticipated projects that will be deemed fit for the social well being of Bayelsans, non-indigenes and generation to come.
The group also advised the electorates to show love and appreciation to the previous works of restoration government by getting their Permanent Voters Cards, PVC, ready in order to give him single vote, come December 5, 2015.
