Immediate past President, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan yesterday visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja
This is the second time the former leader is visiting the State House after handing over on May 29.
Buhari and Jonathan held a closed door meeting at the New Banquet Hall of the State House in a meeting that lasted for only less than ten minutes.
As at the time of filing this report, the outcome of the meeting was not made known to the press but it is speculated that it may not be unconnected with briefing President Buhari on the outcome of the Tanzania’s election where Jonathan headed a 33-Commonwealth Nation Election Monitoring team.
Jonathan who just returned from the election duties in Tanzania, arrived at the Villa about 2.00 pm and left at 2.13pm after his meeting with the president.
It would that, the former had in August 2015 met with President Muhammadu Buhari the first since May 29, 2015 when the former handed over power to the latter.
The meeting according to presidential spokesman, Femi Adesina, was said to have been lasted for not more than 30 minutes. It held just a day before Buhari similarly met with former President Olusegun Obasanjo at the Aso Rock Villa.
