Nigerian youngster, Kelechi Nwakali finally had his professional competitive debut for his Dutch club MVV Maastricht on Friday night as his side recorded a 1-0 victory over Ajax Amsterdam II in the Eerste Divisie.
The attacking midfielder enjoyed only a cameo role as he was introduced into the game by manager Ron Elsen in the second minute of stoppage time, replacing Thomas Verheijdt.
It was Joeri Schroijen that netted the winning goal for the hosts with five minutes remaining.
Premier League club Arsenal had on Friday via their official webpage confirmed that Nwakali will spend the remainder of the season on loan at MVV Maastricht having also received his working permit.
