The INEC boss commended the people of the state, security operatives and staff of the Commission for their cooperation which resulted in a free and fair governorship election devoid of blood shed.
She therefore attributed the recorded success in the said election in state, to the innovation in form of PVC and Card Reader which has made rigging and other electoral manipulations impossible.
While collecting his Certificate of Returns from the Commission as duly elected in the said governorship election, the governor- elect, Yahaya Bello called everyone in the state to join hands with him to give a new name to the state.
He said his emergence as governor elect was an act of providence, if not, the shoes left behind by late Prince Abubakar Audu are too big for him to wear.
