Kogi state chapter of the coalition of APC Support Groups has said the party will clinch victory in the governorship election slated for November 21, 2015 in the state.
The chairman of the group, Dr. Yakubu Ugwolawo stated this in Lokoja during the inauguration of the newly constituted executives of the group, noting that Kogi state needs immediate rescue operation from its present state of under development and abject poverty.
According to him, the party is set to re-enact the successes it recorded during the presidential and national assembly elections in the state, adding that the people are dissatisfied with the poor performance of the PDP-led government in the state.
The elder statesman noted that the state with its abundant mineral and human resources does not need to be poor, stressing that the APC government which he said will be formed in January 2016, will attract developments to the state.
Ugwolawo therefore called on the people of Kogi state to vote out the PDP government in the state, which according to him has brought untold hardship to the people in the last 12 years.
