FORMER NFF President Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdullahi has been nominated as one of the recipients of the Kogi State government award holding today in Lokoja. In a letter addressed to the former FCT Director of Sports and signed by the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and dated August 13, the award is in the category of Excellence in Sports “this will be presented to you when our State will be marking her 25 years of existence on Saturday (today) August 2017. Your presence is highly needed during this epoch event” he concluded.
The former Football Federation boss last weekend also received an award of sports excellence from the FCT Correspondents Chapel of the NUJ. Lulu since leaving office in 2010 has been involved in the development of talents at the grassroots through his pet project FOSLA Academy.
