All Progressives ‎Congress, APC, in Kwara State has lifted the one-year suspension placed on a former lawmaker, Senator Mohammed Ahmed and five other members in Baruten Local Government Area of the state.
In a statement issued by the state publicity secretary, Alhaji Sulyman Buhari, the party said, “Having reviewed the sanctions, the suspensions are lifted forthwith and the affected members are pardoned.”
The party also pardoned‎ Alh Samari Abdullahi, Alh Mohammed Suno Gofe, Alh Abubakar Abdullahi Gunu, Hon, Adamu Sabi Ibrahim and Alh Aliu Kora Sabi.
The affected members were earlier suspended following recommendations by a panel of enquiry set up by the APC in Kwara State to probe allegations of anti-party activities.
