Mr Olabamji Adeleye, Chief Executive Offier, Addefort Ltd., and organizer, Lagos Corporate (LCC) 2017 on Thursday said the competition would promote cycling as a major sporting activity in the country.
Adeleye told the Nigerian Pilot in lagos that the competition has been scheduled to run between May 13 and June 10.
He added that other activities for the month long event would include brand exhibition, coaching and talent discovery/development programme.
Adeleye said the competition was also designed to champion healthy competition among corporate organisations as well as encourage healthy lifestyle among corporate executives.
According to him, the organisation is working with stakeholders to stage a cycling competition that would meet international standards and further enhance its development.
“Corporate organisations through their participations are to encourage the general public to engage in cycling in their various communities for healthy living.
After competing for the medals, it will provide a platform for grooming of young participants and talent discovery
