BARCELONA midfielder Rafinha is reportedly
a January target for Liverpool, Arsenal and
Tottenham, according to reports in Spain.
Rafinha was linked with a move away from
Barcelona this summer but a long-term knee
injury put his exit on the back-burner.
The midfielder has been working hard to get
back to full fitness and is reportedly targeting a
January move.
And according to Spanish newspaper Mundo
Deportivo, the 24-year-old is attracting attention
from Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham.
The report says the Premier League trio are
all tracking the Brazil international who has a
£68million release clause.
Rafinha is reportedly keen to leave Barcelona
to improve his chances of making the Brazil
squad for the 2018 World Cup.
He was already facing an uphill battle to make
it to Russia following his long-term knee injury.
However, the arrival of Paulinho and
emergence of Sergi Roberto has put even more
pressure on him to leave Barca.
The Catalan club are said to be aware of his
desire to leave and will not stand in his way in
January.
However, they will reportedly drive a hard
bargain for the Brazilian who is under contract
until June 2020.
He is said to have a £68m release clause,
meaning interested parties may have to get
close to that if Barca are to agree a deal.
Besides interest from the Premier League
trio, rivals Inter and AC Milan are also said to be
running the rule over Rafinha.
He was a product of Barca’s academy, coming
through the ranks with his brother Thiago, but
has made just 78 appearances since stepping
up to the first team in 2011
