Unlike the last general elections, Saturday 9th April Federal Capital Territory (FCT) poll experienced massive low turnout of voters in most polling units.

According  to reports gathered by our correspondents at different area councils, turnout of voters was as low as 11 at some polling unit where as the highest number recorded was 50 as the time this report was filed.

It was also observed that some residents were either indoors or youths playing football on the streets.

However, motorists still maintained their long fuel queues at different Abuja filling stations while the elections go ahead.

Above all, the election has been going on peacefully with heavy security presence in almost every 100 meters of major roads.
