A 75 year old man, Philip Akinyemi,  and five others have  been
brought before an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrate Court over an alleged
destruction of a fence to a building.
The other  accused persons include , Isaac Oloruntoba,65,Falade
Oladeji,35,Abiodun Aguda,63,Falade Tope,45 and Falade Ajayi,40.
The police prosecutor, Inspector CalebLeranmo,  told the court
that the accused persons  committed the offence on August 30 at about2.00 p.m at Ise-Ekiti.
He alleged that the accused, on the said date, unlawfully destroyed abuilding fence of Mr. MichaelAdetiloye, which valued at the rate ofN1 million, saying the offence contravened Section 451 of theCriminal Code, Cap C 16,Laws of Ekiti State 2012.
The accused pleaded not guilty before the court while their counsel,MrTundeFalade, asked the court to grant them bail,adding that theywere first offenders and promised  that they would not jump bail.
Chief Magistrate, AdesojiAdegboye, later granted bail to the accusedpersons in the sum of N100,000 and one surety each.  The case waslater adjourned to October,  24 for further hearing.
