MANCHESTER CITY have
reportedly shown a statement of
intent by lodging a £24million
bid for Arjen Robben.
Robben is believed to be keen
to leave Bayern and take up a
new challenge abroad.
United are currently in the
throes of drawing up their list
of targets, with Louis van Gaal
expected to be handed a transfer
kitty of £150m.
City meanwhile, have been
closely courting Raheem
Ramsey
frustrated with
wing role
Sterling, though it would take
a fee in excess of £45m to bring
him to the Etihad.
But according to Italian news
outlet Tutomercatoweb, City
have made their first move.
They suggest a £24m bid has
been submitted for the 31-yearold
winger, who has hit 19
goals this season.
Robben is no stranger to the
Premier Legaue, having lifted
the title twice during his threeyear
spell with the Blues
