TRADING on the Nigerian stock market closed on a positive note yesterday, as NSE ASI appreciated by 0.80% to close at 27,231.50basis points, compared with the 0.37% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -4.93%.
Market breadth closed positive as Vitafoam led 284gainers against 19losers topped by Learn Africa at the end of yesterday’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.
Market turnover closes negative as volume declined by 13.42% against 43.35% decline recorded in the previous session. FBNH, UCAP and Access Bank were the most active to boost market turnover. FBNH and Zenith Bank top market value list.
Airline Service leads the list of active stocks that recorded impressive volume spike at the end of yesterday’s session.
