Chief of Air Staff, CAS, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar, has applauded military personnel fighting Boko Haram terror war in North-East Nigeria for the sacrifices they are making for their fatherland, stating that the personnel are sacrificing their comfort for Nigeria.
The Air Chief who spoke in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, during Easter visit to the air force troops, expressed appreciations for their sacrifice and commitment to the nation.

The CAS based his assessment on the level of commitment exhibited by the men of the Nigerian Armed Forces in the counter insurgency fight.
Addressing officers and men of the Nigerian Air Force participating in the counter insurgency operation against the Boko Haram, the CAS said “those who deserve standing ovation, and our sincere appreciation as a nation, are those living in trenches at this time of Easter, those who have sacrificed their comfort that we may have peace and stability in the North East.”
