A PEOPLES Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain and former Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Hon Bappa Haruna Disina has faulted the decision of the party’s senators to stage a walk out during the screening exercise of the former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amechi.

He was speaking to newsmen in Bauchi where he pointed out that the decision of the PDP senators to stage a walk out during the ministerial screening process was not the best for the party, saying that every nominee is looking for majority votes not necessary to get 100%.

“Walking out by our Senators during the ministerial screening honestly is not the best. Every nominee is seeking for majority acceptance to scale through. They should have remained in the chamber to even campaign by contributing in the process. After all did their walking out affect the decision of the Senate or stop screening of the ministerial nominees?” he asked.
