Nollywood movie, ‘Fifty’ made its world premiere last Saturday, October 17 at the London Film Festival amidst pomp and excitement as the lead characters in the movie all turned up looking good.
The beautiful ladies were led by Ebony Life TV founder and executive producer of the film, Mo Abudu, who was joined by Ireti Doyle, Dakore Egbuson, Omoni Oboli and Nse Ikpe-Etim.
The celebs, who were all stunning in their dresses, were also joined by movie director, Biyi Bandele.
The sold out premiere held at the Vue 7 Cinema, Leicester Square, London. It experienced a spectacle like no other as the red carpet was opened by a colourful performance by the famous UK-based Talking Drummers.
Their electrifying performance delighted spectators and fans and ultimately heralded the film’s cast and crew into an impromptu dance.
‘FIFTY’ directed by Biyi Bandele, captures a few pivotal days in the lives of four Nigerian women at the pinnacle of their careers. It was selected under the ‘Love Category’ amongst a diverse selection of films at the BFI London Festival. The Grand World premiere is scheduled for December 13 at The Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
However, a cocktail was held on the eve of the London premiere for the cast and crew.
The event tagged pre-premiere cocktail by the British Council in honour of the movie by EbonyLife boss, Mo’ Abudu, had in attendance notable names like: Iretiola Doyle, Biyi Bandele, Omoni Oboli and star actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande.
