A Lance Corporal in the Nigerian Army identified as Itugbu Augustine Omorodion of the 14 Brigade, Ohafia, who allegedly robbed 21years old Ebuka of N250,000 has been handed over to the military authority for investigations.
Nigerian Pilot gathered that Omorodion, who was arrested by the Aba Area Command of the Nigeria Police, was said to have robbed Ebuka of N250,000 at dagger point, when the victim went to deposit the sum for his master in one of the commercial banks located along Faulks Road, Aba.
This is as a top police personnel from the command told Nigerian Pilot that the suspect had been handed over to the military authority for investigations.
It was gathered that Ebuka raised the alarm which attracted the attention of people within the vicinity.
However, luck ran out of the suspect as men of the Police Mobile Force, PMF, who were on patrol, arrested him.
It was also gathered that the money allegedly stolen was recovered from the suspect.
