Executive Secretary of Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Mr. John Kennedy Opara has cautioned the Director, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, CPWB, Mr. Dabara Audu Labaran to work hard or face replacement.
Opara gave the caution while receiving Mr. Dabara Labaran and his management team who paid him a visit at the NCPC Corporate Headquarters recently in Abuja.
NCPC boss however pledged his support to the newly appointed Director, Mr. Labaran, saying that he should rely on God who brought him to the present level.
In a statement issued by the Head of media, Celestine Ogugua, he congratulated Labaran on his new appointment as the Director, FCT Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, stressing that the need for the newly appointed Director to work closely with God cannot be over-emphasised.
Opara further advised Labaran to be faithful in what God has entrusted in his hands, according to him, “do not disappoint God because if you do, he will raise someone else to replace you”.
He urged him to work hard and ensure he leaves legacies behind, stating that any good work he does will surely speak for him even when he is not there.
Speaking earlier, Mr. Dabara Audu Labaran commended the Executive Secretary for his remarkable leadership style in the Christian Community, especially with regard pilgrimage in Nigeria.
“I see you as my spiritual leader and I want to emulate your visionary leadership style” he said.
He promised to put in his best in his new office and also contribute his quota to the development of the country and to FCT Pilgrims welfare Board.
Former Director, FCT Christian Pilgrim welfare Board, Dr. Lazarus Gaza was recently appointed the Managing Director Upper Niger River Basin Development Authority.
