National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, yesterday arraigned Inya Samuel A. and Okorie Onyekachi K. for possession of hard drugs at a federal high court sitting in Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital.
Inya Samuel A., an indigene of Ezi-Uzu village, Ugwuegu community in Afikpo North Local Government Area of the state was accused of possession of 400grams of cocaine, heroin, cannabis and other drugs.
He was arrested in June this year by the officials of NDLEA.
His counterpart, Okorie Onyekachi K., who resides at N0. 47b Umunze Street, Abakaliki, was accused of possession of 110kg of cannabis sativa, cocaine and heroin in September this year.
According to NDLEA, the two suspects committed offences punishable under section 19 of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency.
The two suspects were arraigned separately and both of them pleaded guilty after listening to their charges.
The trial Judge, Justice Maureen Ada Onyetenu, ordered that they be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the matter till 3rd of December,2015.
