The North East Development Commission (NEDCOM) Bill before
the Senate will address the “comprehensive rebuilding” of Boko Haram destroyed communities in the North East geopolitical zone, before the over 2.2 million Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in camps return to their respective communities, the Senate
Leader, Sen. Mohammed Ali Ndume has disclosed.

Ndume said this to newsmen in Maiduguri at his Government
Reservation Area (GRA) residence,

He said that the NEDCOM bill; has scaled the second reading; and the third and final readings will scale this
month for President Muhammadu Buhari’s assent to become law.
