Led by acting Executive Secretary Kasali Obanoye who stated that the League Management Company, LMC has been scrapped by Giwa –led NFF board decried the extent of dilapidation on existing NPFL one-storey finished office located within Garki 2 inside Abuja which has been abandoned since the advent of LMC, three years ago. Rather than the NPFL edifice, LMC opted to pay about N40 million annually for a rented apartment within the Nation’s capital. Briefing Newsmen yesterday inside the abandoned Mike Adenuga Jnr. house built in 2009, Obanoye said; “The extent of damges in the building is beyond dilapidation. If you quantify the damages, you find out, the renovation of the house will take a lot. “When we came in, few days ago, we found out that water that dropped from rain has already taken over the building. The office equipment destroyed…any moment from now, we will ascertain the extent of what it will take to begin repair On plans to generate monies which would be used to continue running the league, the NPFL Executive Secretary maintained; “There must be a source for the money, it legallymake sense that we don’t divulge the source. But I have been whispered that  concretized demonstrated effort are being made to get sponsors.” Barely two days ago, the new NPFL body ordered all staff of the league body currently serving with the LMC to return to Garki office and resume work today.
