English senior national team coach, Roy Hodgson has handed out first senior England call-ups to Nigerian-born,  19-year-old Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli for the final two Euro 2016 qualifiers. This was as a result of series of good performance by the teenager recently in premier league.

Hodgson described Alli as “a very exciting talent”, however with Jack Wilshere and Jordan Henderson sidelined by injury, the teenager have a real chance of making a mark with the senior side.

Alli who made six Premier League appearances for Spurs this season, joined Tottenham from MK Dons last year but was loaned back for the remainder of the season.
