PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN are eying a double swoop for Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois as Chelsea face a mass exodus this summer.
PSG ended the Blues’ hopes of Champions League football next season, knocking Guus Hiddink’s men out in the quarter-finals with a 2-1 at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.
However, the Ligue 1 side are seemingly not content with just the win and are planning to dismantle the London club’s squad with a stunning double swoop in the summer.
Express Sport understands the Parisians are set to outdo Real Madrid for Eden Hazard, using the Spanish club’s ongoing battle against a transfer ban to their advantage.
And it’s understood they will also make an audacious offer for Belgium international goalkeeper Courtois.
Hazard’s future in west London looks uncertain as the 25-year-old’s standing at the club has gone from hero to zero in the space of one season.
Last year’s PFA player of the year looks a shadow of his former self and has been in poor form for the Blues this term, managing just two goals – both coming in the FA Cup.
And his father has explained this week his son’s problems are due to an ongoing injury that Chelsea have failed to rectify, leading to suggestions that he could leave the club in the summer.
“Eden’s lack of form is due to an injury, an inflammation in the hip, that he’s been carrying now for three or four months,” Thierry Hazard told Belgian newspaper Le Soir.
