IPOB condemns killing of Christians in North, attacks by Fulani herdsmen, amalgamation of 1914

Leadership of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has indicated that when Biafra is granted full autonomy as a sovereign state, no section of the country would be marginalised or sidelined in the scheme of things because the nation’s common wealth would be shared equitably.

Spokesman of the group, Emma Powerful, who made this known in a statement made available to the media, posited that no section would be regarded as majority or minority bacause everybody would be given equal opportunities to develop.

Pointing out specifically the riverine areas of the Niger Deltans, the Urohobo and Ijaw communities, the group assured that they would not be marginalised and urged them to sheath their swords until Biafran independence is assured.

The statement reads: “we, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB worldwide and the directorate of State DOS have called on Urohobo and Ijaw communities in the riverine areas of Biafra land to order to sheath their swords’ because in Biafra land there will be no minorities and majorities.’

“We IPOB worldwide believe in our brothers keepers because God created us to be one. Irrespective of our languages, we are one in Biafraland. God created us with one value system, one culture and tradition.

“In Biafra which is coming soon, it is going to be one of the great nations in the world and is going to be accomodative to all man kind and will never be segregative to our own people. In this we beg the Urohobo and Ijaw communities to stop every action and allow IPOB leadership to constitute a panel of enquiries that will look into the matter and settle It permanently.

“The good people of Ijaw and Urohobo communities should embrace peace so that God Almighty (ChukwuOkikeAbiama) will look into the good spirit in our minds and grant us our heart desire, then give us the new nation Biafra which was taken out of us by the evil men from Britain.

“Again, we advice every Biafran be you Ijaw, Urhobo, Ishekiri, Igala, Idoma, Igede, Igbanke, Igbo, Kalabari, Anang, and others to embrace peace with their neighbours and also should bear in mind that Biafrans should be given chance to live anywhere of your choice without molestation and embarrassment or intimidation.

“Meanwhile, the constitution of Biafra will accommodate every human beings.

“Nevertheless, the leadership of IPOB will set up committees that will settle every communal problems and differences between every clan in Biafraland because we must be in peace before God will allow Biafra to come,” the group points out.
