NPFL: Rangers target win in Uyo

Coach of Rangers International of Enugu, Salisu Yusuf said they are targeting the three points at stake when they take fellow Premiership side, Dakkada FC today in Uyo.

Flying Antelopes who are still in celebration mood following their 1-0 victory over Rivers United last week at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu will today take on Dakada FC at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo in one of the midweek matches.

Yusuf told our correspondent that having recorded victories against Katsina United and Rivers United respectively; they are going to Uyo to take the three points at stake.

“My players have resolved  not  to lose  today’s match but to consolidate on our recent victories by taking the three points on the road.

“You know we lost to them at Enugu in the first stanza under the former coach and that’s why my players have resolved there will be no hiding place for them today in Uyo because we want to take the maximum points and we will definitely achieve it.

According to Yusuf, the rejuvenated Coal City team is going to approach the game with all seriousness knowing full well that we must win most of our remaining matches to be in a comfortable position on the league table.

“ Right now, my players have all resolved that there is no going back in winning all our remaining matches as that is the only way we can sit comfortably on the league table and we are not going to take chances as we play Dakkada today in Uyo”,he concluded.
